Historical Perspective
Pearlchem Inc. was established in 1987 and started out as a
small company distributing specialty raw materials to the
cosmetic and personal care industries. Through strategic
alliances and partnerships established with various principals
throughout the world, Pearlchem gained access and
distributorship to some of the most innovative specialty
ingredients for the cosmetic industry and quickly climbed up the
ranks to become one of the leading suppliers to the Canadian
personal care industry.
Today
Pearlchem Inc. continues to operate as the cosmetic and personal
care division of
S&D
Chemicals (Canada) Ltd. and build on the success it has
gained since its inception. Staying true to its primary focus,
Pearlchem continues to offer only specialty materials and is one
of the very few Canadian suppliers catering primarily to the
cosmetic and personal care industries, without branching out
into other sectors and commodities. This focused approach and
strategy allow us to offer the best technical sales support and
customer service, which we consider as the most important factor
behind our success. By joining forces with our dedicated
suppliers, we are able to offer the most innovative raw
